Cultivating mindfulness to cope with stress
Everyone is welcome
Feeling stressed and unsettled are normal reactions to the ‘total catastrophe of living’ — especially during the pandemic. Being mindful helps becalm body and mind. The practice of mindfulness draws on 2600-year old Buddhist teachings but is taught free of religious dogma.
Classroom activities will comprise brief lectures and plenty of hands-on practice. To fully benefit from this brief course please be prepared to engage in meditation and mindfulness exercises between classes.
