Mindful Eating: short course starts in Oak Bay on Oct 8

I’ll be teaching a 3-session evening class — just in time for Thanksgiving dinner. Click here for course details and registration information.

Eating is a fundamental requirement towards maintaining good health — and life itself. However, various obstacles can create a conflicted relationship with food. In this short course, guided meditation, mindfulness practices, gently inquiry, and home-work serve to (re)establish healthy and joyful ways.

As Zen teacher Thich Nhat Hanh writes, “When we take a moment to sit and breathe before we eat, we can get in touch with the real hunger in our body.”
